Master of Arts in HCI with Games and Meaningful Play focus
Students may enter the program with professional experience or a degree in game design, computer science, art, psychology, education, advertising, journalism, and interactive media. Alternatively, students may come from a background in a content domain to which they want to apply serious games, such as environmental science, political science, or health.
The Games and Meaningful Play focus is part of the HCI concentration in the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media Master of Arts degree. Students earn a graduate certificate in serious games and an MA in HCI. See the Program of Study tab (on the right) for a typical program of study and course descriptions.
The Master of Arts program in Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media typically takes four semesters to complete.
